Rakshabandhan – For One and For All!!

Rakshabandhan– A Festival of Hindus where Sisters tie sacred thread on wrists of their Brother/s; Thread of Prayers, Well wishes and Love sharing throughout the Lifetime.

This thread signifies the Bond that Siblings, Cousins share, a promise for being there for each other, a pact of keeping Safe from Evilish nuances of society.

While it is widely celebrated as a Brother-Sister day, why cannot we Extend it to Bro-Bro/ Sis-Sis Day too! God may have Blessed family with same gender siblings , why should they be Deprived of celebrations. Two Brothers can also vow for being a Staunch Support and Two Sisters can also be Strong Pillars to each other. And not just this, may be two people who aren’t family by birth but the chosen ones. And even If someone’s alone , then that person should Promise ownself of Self Love and Self Protection.

This Bond should not limit to a set relationship. We should step forward and Encourage our younger generations to look beyond the limitations, make them Understand Significance of this ritual, Guide them to nurture the Values , give them an Outlook -Unbiased of Gender.

A sense of responsibility should be lighted in the hearts; Morale Imparting on how to be always there for their Sibling, Vouluntary Kins, Well Wishers. Live a relationship with an Explicit promise of Love and Affection and keep the Ties of Bonds inseparable. They should learn the worthiness of being Blessed with a relation that’s been Bestowed by Almighty. This should be totally Gender Unbiased and Solely on Human Grounds.

Restrictions of Gender Inequality shall be mitigated only when we bring flexibility in our thought process.
