Someone who we feel inspired from has a profound story behind, own struggle and a sheer of luck. We must understand that what person is today is based on his/ her own experiences and chosen path. Taking inspiration from them helps stay determined, listening to their stories widens horizons, deepens knowledge on human nature and glean valuable learnings from their struggles.
But, we should create perfect balance of Admiration and Imitation. Many a times we get enthralled by the glamour of someone who has a more prominent presence in the external world. And we start imitating in every possible manner. This is where we dilute our individuality and self awareness diminishes.
Each of us possess different personalities, attitudes, emotional quotients, analytic abilities …. Exchanging our genuine selves for someone else’s facade limits our ability to harness our full potential.
Admiring someone is good, being in emotional connect is wonderful but letting yourself free to an extent to which we tend to forget ownself is being foolish.
